Searching

You can search through the complete works of Jack Vance by way of queries. A query consists of one or more keywords. Each paragraph containing all of these keywords will be returned. The number of paragraphs returned depends on your phyle. If a query returns too many hits, you can refine your search by adding words, thereby reducing the number of hits. The cost of basic searching is 1 sol per returned paragraph. Basic searching is case insensitive.

+ Leading plus sign indicates that this word must be present in each row that is returned.
- A leading minus sign indicates that this word must not be present in any of the rows that are returned.
A phrase that is enclosed within double quote (‘"’) characters matches only rows that contain the phrase literally, as it was typed.

examples:

+Cugel +beer -Bunderwal
